This Privacy Policy explains how Ryan Bailey Consulting collects, uses and protects personal information.
If you have any questions about this policy, contact:

1. Who we are
Ryan Bailey Consulting provides lead recovery, sales follow-up, data review and related digital marketing support services for service-based businesses.
For website visitors, leads, enquiries and clients, Ryan Bailey Consulting acts as the data controller.
Where a client provides a CSV, spreadsheet, CRM export, enquiry list or similar file containing their own customer or prospect information for review or lead recovery work, Ryan Bailey Consulting usually acts as a data processor, working on the client's instructions. The client remains responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis to share and use that data.
The ICO explains that whether an organisation is a controller or processor depends on who determines the purposes and means of processing, and that processor/controller arrangements should be clear.
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following information:
Information you provide directly
This may include:
- Name
- Business name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Website address
- Enquiry details
- Form responses

- Payment or billing information, where relevant
CSV, spreadsheet or CRM data
If you request a Free Lead Recovery Snapshot or use the 5-Day Lead Recovery Sprint, you may choose to upload or send a CSV, spreadsheet, CRM export, quote list, enquiry list, missed call list or similar file.
This may include details such as:
- Customer or prospect names

Please only send information you are legally allowed to share and that is relevant to the lead recovery review.
Do not send unnecessary sensitive information, such as health data, financial account information, bank details, passwords, identity documents, or any special category data unless we have specifically agreed this in writing.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries

4. Lawful basis for using personal data
Depending on the situation, we may rely on:
- Contract — where processing is needed to provide services you have requested.
- Legitimate interests — where we have a reasonable business reason to process data, such as responding to enquiries, improving services, reviewing lead recovery opportunities, or communicating with business contacts.
- Consent — where we ask for specific permission, such as for optional marketing communications.
- Legal obligation — where we need to keep records for tax, accounting or legal reasons.
The ICO says legitimate interests may apply to direct marketing in some circumstances, but this still requires proper consideration and must comply with electronic marketing rules.
5. CSV uploads and client lead data
If you upload or send a CSV or similar file, you confirm that:
- You have the right to provide the data to Ryan Bailey Consulting.
- The data has been collected lawfully.
- You have an appropriate lawful basis for reviewing and/or contacting those leads.
- You will not upload unnecessary sensitive information.
- The data is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You understand that the Snapshot is a review of the data provided, not a guarantee of sales, replies or revenue.
Ryan Bailey Consulting will only use uploaded CSV data for the purpose of reviewing, preparing, delivering or supporting the requested lead recovery service.
We will not contact individuals in an uploaded CSV unless this has been agreed with you and any messages or follow-up activity have been approved as part of the service.

These may include tools for:

Where third-party providers process personal data, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and only share what is necessary for the relevant service.
7. International transfers
Some tools we use may process or store data outside the UK.
Where this happens, we aim to use providers that apply appropriate safeguards, such as contractual protections, data processing terms or recognised transfer mechanisms.
8. How long we keep information
We only keep personal data for as long as reasonably necessary.
As a general guide:

9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal data, including limiting access, using password-protected systems, using reputable cloud providers, and avoiding unnecessary downloads or sharing.
However, no online system is completely secure. You should not upload sensitive, unnecessary or highly confidential information unless we have agreed a secure transfer method in writing.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to:
- Access your personal data

If we send a business-related email and it is not relevant, you can reply "no thanks" or ask to be removed.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on our website.
